So this was my first attempt at making something grungy. I think I did a pretty good job. I painted the jar with a brown paint that I liked. Then I mixed up a little homemade mod podge to that I added some vanilla extract, nutmeg and cinnamon. I covered the jar with two coats of that. Now I need to decide what to put in it.
what do you mean by homemade mod podge lol ? i want to make some of these for gifts
ReplyDeleteI use a mix of half water and half school glue. It works very well. Sometimes if I have something that just doesn't want to stick very well, I use less water and more glue. I store it in a mason jar with a tight fitting lid and it lasts a while that way.
